Claudia serving customers at Taste of Auckland
When I got an email from Katy asking if I wanted to go to Taste of Auckland, I was sitting at my desk dreaming about not being at my desk, so I immediately said yes! This was such a good opportunity to represent the brand I love the most at one of the most prestigious Food and Wine events in New Zealand so I knew I’d made the right choice. I arrived in Auckland after a pleasant flight from Blenheim and I went straight away to check the event. I was surprised by the venue, Victoria Park is such a gorgeous space located in the middle of the city with mature trees to provide shade.
Everyone was getting ready and excited about the event; stands were offering gourmet produce, the best Auckland restaurants were showcasing the culinary best of this beautiful city, as well as many wineries offering wines from various regions, varietals and styles. I was overwhelmed by all the choice and soon realised there was not going to be enough time to taste everything and work at the same time!
Four days of fun, great wine and amazing food caught up with me on Monday morning when I was back on my desk, but the good memories of all the people who visited me at the Nautilus stand will stay with me for a long time.
Thanks Auckland for your hospitality, and positive attitude towards the weather!
So, that’s my little introduction to this blog, I hope these posts will keep you entertained, and give you some insight into what’s happening in the Nautilus world and I promise more updates to come. This weekend I will be pouring Nautilus wines for our mates down in Christchurch – I am looking forward to seeing some of you there!
